Ents Committee

The Ents Committee is a sub-committee of the Association, which means it's an integral arm of the Union's services.

The committee meet weekly before the crew meeting; but each has their specific remits to fulfil to keep Ents running smoothly.

Head of Ents (SSC Entertainments Convenor)

Currently: Fiona Woodhall (fmw2)

• Chairs all meetings, managing the crew and execution of the committee
• Represents the committee and crew outside of meetings
• Responsible for recruitment of new crew
• Ensures everyone has fun and still manages to get a degree
• Liases/mediates with Building Supervisor (Bruce) and DoES.

Operations Officer

Currently: None, assumed by Head of Ents and Events Officer

• Manages all events run by societies and subcommittees
• Attends User Groups meetings and assumes responsibility for events from there
• Liaises with Charities Committee on RAG Week and allocates any subsequent crew structuring
• Liaises with other subcommittees to improve cooperation and efficiency
